Do you have a story you want to tell?

Welcome Travelers to the first of hopefully many regular updates from us, the Harbor Games team.

What is Harbor Games? We are a small team of developers committed to storytelling and gaming, as well as being the developers of Songs of Vulneria.

What is Songs of Vulneria? It is our upcoming fantasy Tabletop RPG, inspired by the historical events of the late medieval and early modern periods of our own history. In which you will experience the rise and fall of kingdoms, war and intrigue, as well as the introduction and development of new technologies. The game focuses on a skill-based character creation system that emphasizes versatility and customizability to create the character that you want to make. In SoV, a character’s backstory is central to character creation, encouraging role-playing while still allowing for meaningful decision making. Accessibility is also core to the system; all that a player needs is a pen, a piece of paper, and a single D20.

Can you play Songs of Vulneria now? No, but if you want to get it out sooner, we have an upcoming Kickstarter, coming on July 23rd, 2023. Following this, the planned release date is in Q4 2023. We’ll have more information on our campaign in the coming weeks.

What are your long-term goals after the Kickstarter and the release of Songs of Vulneria? After the core rulebook is released, we’ll be following it up with supplements, new pieces of Vulnerian lore, and new mechanics to play with. These will take the form of short stories and premade campaigns. In addition, there are many different settings to explore, and we have plans to branch out in the future.

That’s all for now as far as news we are ready to share. Follow us on our website and social media pages for future news, and contact us at harborgamesllc@gmail.com if you have any questions. In the meantime, we hope you have a wonderful summer, and look forward to staying in touch with you. Please share this if you have any interest in this project.

Farewell Travelers.
